A carefully assembled 100% purebred Valais Blacknose foundation flock in Salinas, California. They share our Salinas ranch with the Highlands, the donkeys, and the daily work we already love. We know them by name and learn a little more about them every day. Noodle and NaTe are the two companion wethers currently offered, and MegaMan straws are available by confirmed order.

The flock
Monterey Valais is a carefully assembled 100% purebred Valais Blacknose foundation flock. Foundation ewes, a breeding and companion core around MegaMan and Murci, and two young ewes live here as one Salinas program.
MegaMan and Murci already have their registration numbers: VBSS#006526 and VBSS#006530. A few of the younger sheep are still waiting on transfer paperwork, and we'll call it pending until it's done. We keep each animal's identification and travel records together, so the paperwork goes wherever the sheep goes.
